On Friday, November 20, I’m bringing An Evening with Richard Beland and Friends to the Sarnia Library Theatre. What started as an invitation to do an author reading has become something a little louder — an evening of photographs, readings from my book, stories, conversation, and live music.
I’ll be sharing stories from a life spent photographing some of the world’s most iconic musicians since 1986, with musician friends performing the music connected to those stories live.
Come early for light refreshments and a piano prelude by Anthony Wing, bringing the music of the bands featured in the book to life from 6:00 p.m. The evening runs 6–8 p.m. — bring a friend and make a Friday night of it.
